A popular American supermodel, actress, and celebrity superstar, Josie Maran was born in California on May 8, 1978, to a Russian/Polish father and a Dutch/French/German mother. Her full birth name was Johanna Selhorst Maran.

Josie Maran began modeling after an agent spotted her at a restaurant; she was only 12 at the time! She would later sign with Elite modeling at age 17. Her career really kicked off in 1998 when she appeared on the cover of Glamour Magazine. That same year, Josie was also the Guess? Girl in their Fall and Summer campaigns.

As an in-demand model, Josie Maran has done work for ELLE, Maybelline, Glamour, Vogue, Bebe, Guess?, Intimissimi and many more.
